Senator Bernie Sanders to NSA – Are you spying on me?

In Economics,Elections,General on January 3, 2014 by Robert Burke

Although the exact words used by the Independent Senator from Vermont were more general, the implication was not, is the NSA spying on America’s politicians?

I have $10,000 says they are, so where’s Mittens Romney to accept the bet?

The money-shot:

“I am writing to ask you one very simple questions.  Has the NSA spied, or is the NSA currently spying, on members of Congress or other American elected officials?  “Spying” would include gathering metadata on calls made from official or personal phones, content from websites visited or emails sent, or collecting any other data from a third party not made available to the general public in the regular course of business?”

If you are looking for the part that makes you giggle a little, that came when he expressed concerned for the Constitution.  Now, excuse me while I pay my Affordable Care Act Fine…I mean tax.
